LeagueFinder connects commissioners and players across every platform, format, and buy-in — for fantasy baseball, football, basketball, and hockey.

LeagueFinder exists to make the experience of finding and filling fantasy leagues as seamless as possible, both for managers and commissioners. Every feature here — from free agent profiles to multi-team orphan listings — exists because someone in this community actually needed it. If something isn't working the way it should, I want to know. Reach out anytime.

Getting Started
1
Create your account
Click Sign In → Sign Up in the top nav. Enter your email, choose a username, and set a password. Check your inbox for a confirmation email to verify your address.
Your username is how commissioners and players see you across the platform — pick something you're happy with.
2
Complete your profile
Open My Profile from the nav. Set your role (Commissioner, Player, or Both), your preferred formats, and preferred platforms. Write a short bio — it shows on your profile and helps commissioners make faster decisions.
A complete profile gets you approved faster. Commissioners are more likely to approve applicants whose history and preferences they can actually read.
3
Browse or post a listing
Use the sidebar filters to narrow by platform, scoring format, buy-in, and league size. Commissioners can click + Post a Listing to create a new league opening or list orphan teams available for takeover — including multiple teams in a single post.
Save any listing you're interested in with the heart button — revisit it anytime from your Saved tab.
4
Send or receive a request
Open any listing and click Request to Join. Write a short intro — the commissioner sees it alongside your profile when reviewing. Incoming requests appear in My Listings → Incoming Requests, grouped by league.
You'll get an email the moment a request is sent or a decision is made. No need to keep checking back.
Free Agents New

Get found.
Get invited.

Free Agents is a separate marketplace where players list themselves — and commissioners actively recruit from it. Set your preferences once, and commissioners can send you a direct invite to their league.

List yourself as a Free Agent
In My Profile, toggle on Free Agent Status. Set your league type preferences, scoring formats, buy-in range, preferred league size, and an availability note. You'll appear in the Free Agents browse tab for commissioners to find.
Your free agent profile is sport-specific — you can be a free agent in each sport independently.
Receive and respond to invites
When a commissioner invites you, you'll get an email and see the invite in My Requests → League Invites. Review the league details, their note, and contact info. Accept or decline — if you decline, you can optionally send a brief reason.
Accepting an invite automatically deactivates your free agent profile for that sport so you don't keep getting invites for a spot you've already filled.
Commissioners: find and invite players
Switch to the Free Agents tab in the browse section. Use the same sidebar filters to narrow by format, scoring, buy-in, and platform. Each of your active listings also shows a Matching Free Agents section with ranked recommendations.
The matching score weighs league type, scoring format, buy-in range, league size, and platform compatibility — so the best fits bubble to the top automatically.
Commissioner Tools
Approve or decline applications
In My Listings → Incoming Requests, review each applicant's intro and profile. Approve to send your contact info automatically. Decline with an optional reason so they can find a better fit elsewhere.
When your league is full, hit Mark Filled — all pending applicants and outstanding invites are notified at once.
Post multi-team orphan listings
Need to find owners for multiple orphan teams from the same league? Post them as a single listing with up to 5 teams — each with their own record, standings, and farm rating. Players request specific teams, and each slot tracks independently.
Once a team is approved, it's marked as filled in the listing and removed from the available count automatically.
Edit your listing anytime
Update the buy-in, draft date, open spot count, or any other detail by clicking Edit in your dashboard. Changes go live immediately. You can also reactivate expired listings with one click — they'll stay live for another 30 days.
Listings expire after 30 days. You'll get an email reminder and can reactivate without losing any of your listing details.
Share your listing anywhere
Each listing has a unique shareable link. Click Share in your dashboard to copy it, then post it on Reddit, Discord, or wherever your community is. Anyone who clicks lands directly on your listing — no searching required.
New visitors who aren't signed up yet can still view your listing and will be prompted to create an account when they request to join.
